Yeah, he ain't there just yet.
I guess I'm a old school dude... people didn't get to win and run with the main belt unless they had it all. They didn't get it for just bein' solid in the ring, barely ever cutting promos, and having non-descript personalities. I mean you had Bret Hart, but he was insanely over. McIntyre could get there, but not right now. He's a good contender that could wrestle for it right now.
I've not watched any of his shyt since he come up from NXT but I don't really get it. He's jacked and good looking (
) but this ain't the 80s...fans don't give a shyt about their wrestlers being yoked any more.
I dunno...dude is just kinda there for me. Thought his NXT run was pretty bland. I also don't buy him as a babyface in peril. He needs to be a killer heel. If Vince pushes him hard in that main babyface role, the fans will turn quick. If they're smart (they're not), they'd give him a big heel run first and let him organically get over with the fans.

It seems like he was in line to get it in his first run so on some wishful thinking shıt, I just would've liked for them to have that same energy.Huh?

But I just see that they're gonna have a Scottish champion before they have a black one. I can legitimately see Ron DaRousey will win it before they let a black man get it.

I get what you're saying but all that shyt is irrelevant now. Jinder fukking Mahal won the WWE Championship and Drew McIntyre is WAY BETTER than Jinder. I don't dislike Jinder either. I thought it was cool to see someone new win the championship but they botched the fukk out of his run with their usual shytty booking.
Jinder is a low card guy to the bone... no booking woulda made him decent as champion. The shytty booking in that situation was him being champion in the first place.
And that's the thing... as much as people complain about bad booking, slappin' belts on anybody just cause they have decent matches is truly bad booking. The main belt should go on people who draw and get people invested in their feuds.
