Business casual doesn't have to be a suit though.

I can rock black chinos, boots, and a shawl cardigan to work. It's rugged, masculine, and more elevated than streetwear.

I wear suits to the office, mix it up between chinos and jeans sweatshirts, shirts and t-shirts when not in office

Only wear black, dark blue, grey, and white... got some tan pants and jackets

Brown only in shoes and belts

Sneakers during the day never to a party, event or club

The designer shyt I wear is very subtle... I like to keep it simple and classic

Learned this from my time living in Paris

Yall can call me bougie but in the circles I move perception is everything :yeshrug:

Don't take it like that... People are just used to seeing men dressed like children or just looking like sh1t, so when they see a well dressed man, they're surprised. Men's fashion has devolved to the point where some people consider you dressed up when you have on Jean's, a button up, and some loafers... Smh

To those thinking it's to make people feel comfortable... Do you consider the FOI to be a bunch of safe negroes? They wear suits and they're clean shaven... Actually a well dressed black man that carries himself with dignity is scary to the establishment.

The average man dresses like an 8th grader. It's quite sad. But it just makes you stand out all the more, when you're dressed like a grown man.

two examples of what I'd wear on a weekend during the day/night if there is not a formal event to go to

I wear a lotta black from october to mid-may... got about 12 -15 jeans that are from black to blue, 80% dark tho... pants n chinos as well like other 10 or more, some black, very dark blue, gray and tan

all my tees are the same: black, dark blue other lighter blue but still dark, grey, dark grey, white, dark green... crew neck and v neck... plain no logos or symbols

No jordans, no spaceship colorful sneaks, all white, dark blue or all black or black with white soles...

I do have some dark brown sweaters and sweatshirts...

I dont wear anything thats extravagant or too colorful... Not that I look down on it, it just aint me

Turtle neck shows class , that brown one is fire!!!

Keep it going, I think you know already but once you buy from these stores your eye for style becomes more sharp and your colour palette becomes :ohlawd:

Here's the link to the thread. I'm 24 and I have the eye for fashion, I just need to start implementing it and actually shop more. I usually shop in bulk at once instead of going every few weeks and picking out one or two items. I've picked up a lot of game from @Stormbreaker he's an OG in that thread.

And yea, the Parisians tend to dress in a far more muted fashion. Lots of solid colors with minimal designs. That's a look I'm incorporating a lot more into my own closet.

I actually find the Dutch to be particularly well dressed people. I was there last summer and I saw so many good fits. Like I remember riding my bike through Vondel Park and just being like "Damn...I've never seen so many "regular" people that are so stylish". I was taking pics of fits left and right :russ:

I think it also helps that the Dutch tend to be tall and in-shape. When you're in shape/slender then clothes just look much better on you.
