When they give these dudes a little more time in dreams shyt is going to be bananas. I also think Dreams Should launch on PS5 as an installed APP on every PS5 sold. Took 1 person 2 weeks to do all this shyt.

This was made from scratch in Dreams, for PS4. Dreams for PS4 is an upcoming play, create, share type of game similar to LittleBigPlanet or Mario Maker. What makes Dreams so special is there's no theoretical "limit" per se. There can be games created in pretty much whatever genre you want. Mind you this is stuff made in a few days/weeks.

To give you an idea, check out all these clips which are made in the same game. These are things made by users with only weeks. Imagine months of development time when the full game is out. This is just a mere handful of games. There's going to be hundreds, thousands of games free to play through this game alone. Of course there will be garbage games but the game has a nice curation feature that sorts games by likes, recommendations and other tags.

To give an idea how incredible the engine is, they created a level from their last game, LBP in spare time.

You've heard of LittleBigPlanet right(For PS3)?

Imagine someone remaking a level from your favorite game in a completely different game within spare time. The possibilities are endless. So to answer your question, the thing that's "special" is to show that a TPS with enemy A.I. is possible in the game and that's just a prototype. Seeing the detail and realism that can be achieved someone can make a fully functional and polished TPS game in Dreams(AND there can be multiplayer support!).

Also it has VR support. This is basically next gen type stuff.

shyt isn't accessible at all you need a degree in game design & logic if you really wanna build some ill shyt. the built-in tutorials are ass if you're tryna create something other than a platformer.

Yeah that's how I felt when I was in the beta. I'm pretty much just getting the game to play the creations from other gamers.
