Stic.Man straight up said he never ghostwrote for Nas. They DID collaborate but he said out of his own mouth there were NO reference tracks and he even asked Nightmare to produce them if she had them. Then No I.D. Produced lyrics from the sessions that Nas wrote himself and Just Blaze told her he was in the studio with Nas and Jay Elect and no ghostwriting took place and she responded that it was all a misogynistic attack against her lmao

Why she was defending Jay so hard idk. But it all stemmed from Harry Belafonte asking why Jay didn’t use his music and platform to speak on black issues and make “radical” albums like Nas Untitled and Nightmare tweeted “I think Jay writes what he feels. Nas ****** album was largely written by Jay Electronica and Stic.Man”

There was another writer who said that Jay Electronica told him that he was writing for Nas on that Untitled album and that he specifically wrote Queens Get The Money.
Honestly, who knows, but I'm not going to get mad at dream hampton about something I have no idea happened or not.

She lied and said Nas used Ghostwriters during the making of Untitled, specifically Jay Electronica and Stic.Man.

Those are serious, potentially career jeopardizing accusations for someone of Nas stature. And she was doing it to specifically defend and uphold Jay-Z.

Then she cried and bytched and stood ten toes when Just Blaze, No I.D. And Stic.Man himself told her she was bullshytting.
Maybe I was in college and wilin during this time but I never heard this story. Honestly, I just heard that claim from you guys.

I will NEVER forget that. The ENTIRE legion of hip-hop came out and called her out on her bullshyt. And she STILL didn’t want to admit she was wrong and tripled down on it…all in the name of Hov..

they kinda admitted to helping write sly fox...

Stic. Man said he he helped with one line and he and Nas worked together on the chorus. Dream Hampton claimed that Stic and Jay Elect wrote the majority of the album and that there were reference tracks. Stic.Man said this was untrue and asked her to provide the reference tracks. She never did and instead accused Stic.Man and Just Blaze (who was at the sessions) of being misogynists

Queens Get The Money is Nas rapping about fans wanting him to go back to his old style, dissing 50 Cent, and talking about how the powers that be are forming a new world order. Why would Nas need a writer for ANY of that? Never made any sense to me.

And again, if you’re a journalist and you make accusations then you need to provide PROOF. Thats why people were mad, not only was she standing ten toes down on an accusation, when people started providing RECEIPTS that Nas wrote his own shyt she got offended and started acting like it was some misogynistic shyt.
