To be honest, peer review doesn't necessarily mean a theory is correct. Most peer reviewers are biased cacs themselves and occasionally accept studies as academically honest and valid if said studies coincide with peer reviewers' political or social views.

Peer review is the best way of assessing whether something is true or not especially as it relates to very specialised fields. That's not to say that being peer-reviewed makes it true, it's just the best way of making the case that something likely is.

Having said that, the point was not the merits of peer review, but that the poster seems to have reserved peer review as being cac. It's dismissive of many black scientists and academics out there who are experts in their fields.
