Just because what Draymond did was some sucker shyt doesn’t make it a sucker punch. A sucker punch is when you punch somebody who isn’t looking. That’s something completely different.

The reason why Draymond is a bytch is because he’s startin shyt with someone smaller than him who clearly wasn’t trying to fight. We all know he’s not doing this to Demarcus Cousins.

I think it was both

Sucker punch = An unexpected attack

No one in this situation, Poole nor his teammates, seemed to be expecting that kind of response. I’ve seen other athletes say the same that they wouldn’t expect their teammate to swing on them like that

I understand your perspective but I just can’t see it that way if you factor in everything.

At the end of the day we can argue semantics but really this isn’t even a point that I think is worthy of addressing in this situation

They don't play the dozens in basketball culture? Hmmm....
Of course, I’m not saying that. Even some threats get out thrown too but if you can’t fight and have zero awareness, you probably shouldn’t be doing any of that, less you get cleaned up and put on the floor. You owe it to yourself not to get victimized just because you want to do the shyt that you see others who understand the stakes do.

This is why our parents didn’t want us hanging out with older kids growing up. There were things we might be too naive to understand at the time. I’m not going to let his upbringing be an excuse for his unawareness since he chose to engage in the shyt talking side without understanding the “backing it up” side.

So my reply to Stringer about Poole being from a top school in Wisconsin (which don’t mean shyt really) is that he should stay in that “I went to a top school in Wisconsin “ lane and not get involved with fukkery of aggressive bravado because someone may cash that check.

Honestly if Draymond was an opp I would agree with what a lot of people are saying about being prepared and having your hands up but when you’re dubbed the leader of the team it’s your job to put the teammates first and do what’s best for them. As good as JP has been he doesn’t have the clout to get away with messing up shyt up for the team. If he would have thrown the first he would get more flack than Green since he’s the young boy.

Draymond swung on that dude like he hates him so if that’s the case then go ahead and split them up but if he doesn’t then it shouldn’t have gotten that bad in the first place. Dude keeps going into business for himself and I dunno what the front office is thinking about contracts and shyt but he definitely made it worse for himself.
