so somebody is about to square up with Poole during the game now?

It's mental and having to deal with remarks and looking weak, soft

I have a huge ego. I would sue if they didn't meet my request as the Dubs were willing to play me off

That was worse than I thought. Players might be squaring up with Draymond after every foul now just in case.

Nope Shannon is right.

Poole could have just walked away, brushed Draymond aside and been trashing talking or just squared up to Draymond.

The moment he decided to push Draymond the way he did all bets were off and he should have been prepared the way Embiid was when he did the same thing to KAT who immediately attempted to swing for Embiid after he was pushed.

Of course from Draymond's body language he was looking for a fight and Poole fell for it and he is in the wrong. But you shouldn't engage another man physically if you're not prepared. It just looks worse because Draymond has a bigger build and Poole is skinny.
Shannon said Dray was dead wrong.

Like i said, hindsight will tell you JP should have hit Dray off jump. But at work, with a co-worker….I don’t fault JP for assuming this wasn’t an actual fight till it happened :manny:

Damn when they said Dray threw a punch I thought maybe he threw and missed but nah he clocked Poole and damn near took him down to the ground :picard:

I mean I'm okay with the Warriors decision on Draymond, nothing too serious just let the fire die down a bit but I expect these two to be aight with each other when the season starts.

I really like Jordan Poole's game but I guess Dray response was some what of a wakeup call for Poole not to get too cocky out there like he got juice even though he was phenomenal for them last season en route to the championship.

I don't quite agree with this.

Poole pushed him away, which is not a passive move by any means

Now he should have squared up when Draymond came walking back towards him.
You didn’t see the part where Draymond walked into him? initiating contact. Poole did what was right, if someone goes into your personal space like that you wouldn’t push them away?

Agreed with your last statement, Poole should have had his hands up ready to go right after the push off

Im sure Poole wasnt expecting Green to try and delete his life meter. But he said something obviously that triggered Draymond to the point of making a beeline for him, and then he shoved him. Right or wrong, to not be on your guard at that point is crazy to me. Dray aint obligated to wait for him to get ready before retaliating.

And again no, this isnt me saying Green was right the way he hauled off on son, without knowing what was actually said.
Imma leave it at this, if Dray had at least squared up before he threw that punch I’d agree it wasn’t cheap. He walked up to Poole and just launched that shyt knowing dude wasn’t ready for that
