But he is that now. He’s terrible. Can’t defend, can’t shoot, can’t run, and can’t dribble. They BENCHED him to win a title last season. He’s done. Bob Myers letting Poole go for nothing this season to appease an over the hill, undersized PF with a bad attitude and a big mouth would be a huge mistake.
Stop speaking in hyperbole.

They didn't bench Dray to win a title. He played every game in the Finals, averaged 36 minutes and played 42 minutes in the closeout game (one of their best players too). He was kept on the bench for longer periods than he usual in a couple of games, but he wasn't benched like you're inferring. And whatever opinion you have of his game and state, doesn't mean to say the organization holds the same.

Why do you think they tried to downplay this in the first instance?

All of this talk is inconsequential, anyway, as both players are going to play out the season on this team. This will be a distant memory in 1-2 months time with all the fukkery the season will bring.

Even before it gets to the point you push somebody, if somebody walks up to you your sense of awareness needs to go up a few levels.

If you push somebody, you need to expect a response of them taking it to another level and not simply returning a push or less - you don't take that shyt for granted, because a conflict can mean the last few seconds of your life.

Even if you're expecting them to swing, you better swing first, land first and finish the fight first because fighting ain't a sport, it's fighting.

That said, whenever somebody has fast hands like Draymond, you low key kind of screwed because fast hands can still slip you when you know a punch is coming.

That also means you need to stop talking shyt (especially if you know you can't fight) unless you want to fukk around and find out.

What you mean talking shyt?

Is playing the dozens not culture? If either one couldn't hang then move on. If you fighting over non physical threats you belong in a cell. One or both.

Man, I’ve been in many locker rooms. We’re not firing off on each other like that. It’s the usual pushing and shoving but dudes seldom take it there. He threw that shyt with ill intentions. Typical Spartan envy. You try so hard and the hoes still want the young Wolverine. I understand. But I don’t :umad:

Any envy green has towards Poole would be regarding contracts, not anything related to where they each played college ball.

That shyt is only a big deal to fans and current college players. Once you’re in the professional world no one gives a f

That's nonsense. Who made up that rule? Poole didn't get the memo that a shove gets you slept in practice and not in a real game.

Those in game situations get de-escalated because league appointed refs step in or the players really aint about that life so it never goes beyond that.

:dead: Breh didn’t you see Draymond go all up in his personal space? What was he supposed to do cower against the wall?:gucci: Some of y’all acting like this a street corner or high school cafeteria. This is grown teammates on an NBA team. Who the fukk thinks their teammate is going to sucker punch them?:dahell:
Bro I never said Jordan Poole was wrong for pushing Draymond. I said he was wrong for pushing and not expecting return fire. That was an error in his perception of how the world works, and I'm sure he's corrected that. Idk what you're talking about thinking it's high school or me thinking Jordan Poole wasn't in the right for the shove...It just seems like you didn't learn in high school that when you push someone expect return fire to me. Even if you choose not to take it farther than the shove yourself, you HAVE to expect return fire and be ready to act accordingly. :yeshrug:

What was that Chris Haynes tweet the other day

:mjlol:

He's not a reporter, Haynes is a Klutch mouthpiece

Draymond literally hit him with a clean punch and slumped him. If this was anywhere else, he'd be arrested and in jail right now. Unbelievable that the Warriors are just fining Draymond and the PR spin is like "oh they had a lil scuffle in practice". Jordan Poole got slumped and probably got a concussion

But if it was like that the why did Poole let him play him close like that??

Doesn’t make sense

From my experience, seeing and being around situations like this, this isn't the first time that this has happened. Poole "seems" like that guy that pops shyt, Poole probably talks shyt to other players too, the lesser ones, shyts on them, folks thinking Dray's the bully, and I'm not saying that he's not but in my experience many of times, it be nikkas like Poole who tries and shyt on folks, the lesser players, talking shyt to them. Diva energy etc. Sass. Dray may be that dude that calls him out at times. Poole may think he's "protected" by the organization and coaches. etc. that's why he may feel that he can so call talk shyt like he's that dude.

Poole thinks he's the guy that has next, I've arrived, I'm a part of the "core" now, I'm the 4th Beetle, and Draymond is the dude like "aight lil nikka, chill out, tone it down" he may have been like this in the past with Poole, but that part of Dray is gone now.

I would even go as far as to say that Draymond gets tired of Poole's antics and demeanor. Again, I've seen situations like this, and Poole is the guy on this new energy, cockiness, etc.

But to answer your question, I believe this isn't their 1st time talking shyt to one another and it probably wasn't the 1st time Dray got into dude's face or got crazy with him, in those times, either Dray was pulled back and told to chill out, or Dray just keep quiet and left it alone.

This time Dray was like fukk it, and when Poole pushed him, all bets were off in Dray's head. The other times folks just broke it up before Dray could punch dude maybe, IDK.

Again, you can tell, from the other players, look at Steph, that this shyt between these two been going on, if it wasn't, they would have quickly stepped in or just told them to shut up
