Paying back guys who got you 4 rings is just an act of loyalty/appreciation.
I'm convinced the GM left because he didn't want to be the one going down as signing Draymond again. This is a bad decision team wise, but it was done to appease Steph so we won't know if it's bad until 2026.
The league should do it more with guys who actually win instead of the Dames/Beals of the world

They said he told Dray he doesn’t deserve another contract..that was after some other shyt he was saying
Hindsight is 20/20 nobody expected Poole to play like absolute dog shyt the entire season and playoffs considering how he played last season… you a real bozo for not even attempting to put context or replaying to my post…
Nobody expected Poole to be this bad..... and they STILL would have needed Draymond no matter how well Poole played. Poole was insurance for the Steph/Klay falloff and retirement, not Draymond's replacement.
