How much they are paid has everything to do with their ability to play winning basketball for the team and nothing else.

Them staying on the team after something like this has everything to do with what I already just explained. Talented players get bushed all the time for non-basketball reasons.

Give me some examples of talented players bushed for non basketball reasons.

Which comes 1st the horse or the cart? In order to get paid the players have to demonstrate that they are good basketball players within that team’s scheme. Draymond and Poole just won a chip together and fit together on the warriors. When something happens I also ignore what’s being said and just wait for the actions of the team and the players involved.

Draymond has apologized and took time away to give JP some space. JP wasn’t hurt by the punch and continued to play basketball. JP hasn’t expressed any reason why he couldn’t continue playing with Draymond as teammates. Lastly the Warriors announced that they fined Draymond and he will be back at practice and will not miss any games. These are the “actions” of the participants in this situation.

The “words” of fake outrage and trading Draymond and JP can’t trust and hostile environment are irrelevant.

Replace what? He’s gotten worse every season. They had to bench him to win a championship. He’s a net zero on defense and an absolute negative on offense. He can yell and scream defensive rotations from the bench, because that’s all he’s good for at this point.

The heart and soul talk has always been an overrated, Klutch driven talking point. The Warriors go as Steph Curry goes. If he’s playing at a high level, they will contend. If he’s not, they won’t. Draymond being there won’t make them any better, but it damn sure can make them worse.
