But what dat defense do?

@goatmane :shaq:

Surely no steals leading to break away dunks.

I had to re-think.
Like how does rhis nikka think he on scottie level as an all time defender on the perimeter. When scottie was nowhere near mike as a defender.

This draymond shyt an agenda based cap. Welled in trying to make this dialogue a war of attrition. When it is not supported by an meteic or real fact. Let alone the actual eye test.

Stephs record without klay last yr was 15-50, after the horrible start to the season, steph ran away with an extended injury to save embarrassment.

Stephs record thus far this year is 22-24 and they gonna miss the playoffs despite having a better squads than say teams like spurs, griz.

Steph cannot carry a team the same way other legit superstars have.

The first 2 points you made are misleading (and you already know they are, so I don't see you even bothered to post them).

But anyway, honestly, tell me: What other legit superstars have "carried teams"?

This is actually a bit of a myth. The only player who has actually "carried" teams was LeBron - and he did it in the East.

Shaq? Played with Penny, Kobe, Wade, etc.
Kevin Durant? Dude played with Westbrook, Harden, Ibaka, Adams, etc. in OKC. Then GSW. Then with Harden and Kyrie Irving in Brooklyn.
Duncan? He had an older Robinson (who was still excellent defensively) and Parker, Ginobili, Bowen, then later on Kawhi
Kobe? You do realize he missed the playoffs and won only 40-something games after Shaq and left and before Gasol came, right?
KG missed the playoffs a couple times in Minnesota when his team was trash.
Magic? Dude played with multiple HOFers.
Same with Russell.

Nash technically did with the 7 seconds or less scheme, if you wanna count that (and not give credit to D'Antoni).

The point is that most great superstars actually haven't really "carried" teams like that.

But we randomly single out Steph Curry for that.

Draymond was more skilled in 2015/2016 offensively than he is now. We’re not re-writing history because he may suck now.
He shot the ball well in those years, but a lot of his playmaking was still tied to Curry and Klay. Look at how he was in the 2019 Finals when Klay went down, and look how far he has fallen this year when Curry went down.

I’ve been telling people this from the start of the season.

Not trading him to keep KD is a huge L.
KD was not staying . Dray is still good he just can’t be needed to give you anything offensively. If so you’re in trouble .

Zero shots is :hhh:

I’ve seen him turn over the ball passing up open shots. He needs more criticism for not improving .

Duncan’s2003 title was a legit carry job
