Show me the law that states that.
I highly doubt that’s how ownership works but please prove me wrong with California law.
Draya is claiming she did these things. Nothing in writing, nothing concrete. Just her talking. He can evict her from his home within the lawful timeframe.
I don’t get why she just doesn’t leave. She had a baby by another guy and she’s trying to latch on to this new idiot. She just needs to go find her another place. It’s really shouldn’t be that hard if she has all this money.
I have no idea why people ask questions they could google about....
TLDR: You have no legal right UNLESS YOU ARE A TENANT OR IT'S NECESSARY TO MAINTAIN HABITABILITY
"In California, if you pay for repairs on a house that is not yours, you generally have no legal right to be reimbursed unless you have a written agreement with the homeowner stating otherwise, or if you can prove that the repairs were necessary to maintain the property's habitability and you are a tenant with a "repair and deduct" right under California law.
Key points to remember:
Landlord responsibility:
As a tenant in California, the responsibility to repair most issues that affect habitability falls on the landlord, meaning they should cover the cost of necessary repairs.
"Repair and deduct" right:
If a landlord fails to make necessary repairs, tenants have the right to "repair and deduct" by fixing the issue themselves and then deducting the cost from their rent.
Written agreement needed:
If you are not a tenant but are paying for repairs on someone else's property, you must have a written agreement with the homeowner outlining your responsibility to pay for repairs and any reimbursement terms. "
This is why if you have a home, and move your lady in, and start letting her pay rent or fixing the kitchen stove and shyt.... She can come back and fukk you over for that house that her name isn't even on.
Have them pay cash... Pay for something else... Or eat it and pay yourself. But NEVER, let someone start paying for shyt on or about your home. Some states are even worse
She's screwed because the house isn't even his name. That verbal agreement scam ain't gonna work.
Jets' Tyrod Taylor called cops to evict ex Draya Michele and her child with NBA star boyfriend, court docs reveal
The latest drama between model and actress Draya Michele and New York Jets QB Tyrod Taylor has taken another turn as the NFL star reportedly tried evicting his ex- girlfriend from a house he bought.
www.dailymail.co.uk
It was ultimately revealed to Michele's attorney that
Taylor filed an eviction lawsuit through his company, which technically owns the property. A default judgement was entered in the case, allowing the NFL star to serve her by mail, according to Michele's filing.
Now this is a way to get out of that loophole... But again, shows that it is actually a thing you have to get around
One thing I see too much of is "Draya is dumb." Of course she is, that's why she hired lawyers. The lawyers aren't dumb. They know the law. They know how to fight cases. They know what to say and do to make it a real case and not something thrown out in seconds
Y'all think they let her just make up numbers and statements and laws and then go along with it without checking if it's legal and will work? His lawyers did the same. Which is why he knew to put it in his company's name off top. Hopefully he's not the sole owner or it will revert right back to him
