People hate tml because 1) generic and weak first single with find your love 2) whole album felt contrived with all the industry features 3) high expectations generally after SFG. Turns out find your love was the worst song on there. Drake wasn't rapping as good as he is now but his hooks were fire and the album was well produced, 40#s sound was still fresh at the time

That big time, that's why Views should be at the very bottom. Sure, TML was shallow and very manufactured, but the beats bumped mostly and a lot of catchy stuff was on there.

What did you do on “Practice”?
That whole hook was me. That’s probably the only song I wrote for Take Care. The rest of it was just shyt I was going to have for [House of Balloons]. He really wanted to incorporate my sound, which was inspired by his sound. It’s not like, “Oh, I had the ‘new sound.’” It was just easier for him to relate to me, because it was his sound with an edge. It was that Toronto sound. So yeah, you’re right. I feel like I could have been that for his album.

Shot for me is obviously written by Abel. You can tell just reading the lyrics. Hence why he has a writing credit on it. Song is basically just like his track same old song. Same type of lyrics and subject matter.

Looking at the views tracklist that shyt really was weak as fukk, 20 tracks and only like 5 I can actually listen to, and a couple of those are singles..easily his worst. I'm still gonna stick with Take Care being his best but Nothing was the Same is close to it and underrated, album sounds fukking great in the summer.

ehh the way he snapped on Weston Road flows, U with me?, Views ala 4pm in calabassas style better than the radio friendly tracks on TML imo

Best - Toss up between Take Care & IYRTITL. Take off 5-6 songs from Take Care, and he would have a legit classic. IYRTITL is simply the album I most enjoy from him.

Worst - The abysmal dumpster fire known as Views. shyt shouldn't even be allowed to be classified as rap. shyt should be next to Flo-Rida, Taylor Swift, and Kidz Bop albums.
