People will mimic Drake on this new album because hes easy to copy. Kendrick is one of a kind and cant be duplicated, friends.

I'll join the minority and vote NWTS. :manny:

I've been pretty vocal about saying Kendrick is overrated and his album did nothing for me. Not trash, but not the classic it's hyped to be on here.

NWTS is no classic either, but it's definitely the better album in my eyes. Call me a stan if you want, but K Dot isn't in Drake's league as an artist OR as a rapper. People just don't want to admit that wheelchair Jimmy is legit. :yeshrug:

Not a stan, but i'll answer and say Tuscan Leather, The Language, Too Much and Pound Cake/Paris Morton Music 2 are all standouts. I don't see how that can really be argued. :yeshrug:

Kendrick is the new Gucci Mane of 08, the hot thing to ride right now....but he still has yet to prove his longevity

Honestly none of his actual verses on GKMC are memorable to me. Drake is the type of music you go out and have a good time to. Real feel good music, and he has more versatility with his music making capabilities.

People want to say he never made a record better than GKMC ignoring he dropped one of the most influential mixtapes of all time with So Far Gone, Kendrick is still playing catch up when you throw that in the discography

Love Kendrick.love Kendrick's music. But yelling, screaming, hooks in random places while still simping "new" drake is still more accessible. If anything, he changed up jusssst enough this album to avoid being repetitive. Which is all he needs to stay at the forefront of this generation of clone-ass, no regional sound-ass nikkas.

The funny thing about drake... more than any MC not named Kendrick or Kanye, hes crafted a unique lane and sound for himself. His albums sound like his type of music. Most these dudes is still dikkriding 50's blueprint (even if y'all won't admit it). Little east, little West, little south. Maybe one Midwest joint. Shake, stir, serve.

Which is why the wu-tang joint doesn't bother me. He did it his way. fukk did y'all expect?
