All i did was point out that his sales have gone down 3 straight releases.

Its just a fact.

But I can see it got you in your feelings:mjlol:

Are you implying that the sales are lower because of when they came out?

If thats the case why have j coles sales gone up 3 straight releases in a row :ohhh:

Forest Hills Drive is Cole's first platinum album

ALL of drake's albums have gone platinum :what:

I don't even know what you're trying to get at, of course with time people ARE going to buy more albums that's just common sense

I ask you, if a Drake is "declining" and he's still outselling Cole, what does that make Cole? :jbhmm:

If you are just giving someone one or two lines, you don't go through the trouble of recording reference tracks for two lines. Point black period, end of story, no debating.

Thats not how it works. A writer/producer submits a reference track, the artist determines how much of it they want to use. A writer/producer doesn't say, oh im not sending you shyt unless you use the whole thing. How you gonna say no debating when this is a hip hop message board. If y'all want to circle jerk yall selves on Q jokes just say that. Your opinion is not accurate but do you playa

Are you new to rap? This is nothing new, this isnt a "drake" thing, its a "life" thing and happens anywhere, if you become too famous, its cooler to hate then appreciate.

Now a days if you say you like Wu Tang on the coli, you are called a cac... And wu's legendary status is just a tad higher then sir drakes :comeon:

Breh I've been on hip hop forums for 6 years since I was a 13 year old kid

I'm just tired of these :flabbynsick: nikkas moving the goal posts,

Why are you dancing around the fact that drake is selling less and less with each release?:jbhmm:

I didnt say anything but post a fact that drakes sales are falling :pachaha:

Why are you putting declining in quotes, he is declining. All your stanning and shucking doesnt change the facts layed before you :umad:

The only thing Im getting at is posting something you cant dispute, dummy :smugbiden:

Son if you KNOW how it works then you know damn well that a reference track is not made for just 2 lines. Writers do NOT lay the reference track until after the fact. Drake tweaking lines at the end does not mean Quentin Miller was removed from helping out on those lines too. Don't act like QM got an email, wrote the verse, recorded it himself, sent it to Drake then there was no input moving forward as Drake only decided 'hmm I just want a few lines' :snoop:

Just because you are on a message board TALKING about Hip Hop doesn't mean everything is up for debate. Just because you can type that Soulja Boy is better than Rakim doesn't make it true. But if you want to jerk yourself off to Drake thinking you found a way to make an excuse for him having a bunch of songs written by others just say that.

Opinion's don't have to be accurate as they are subjective. When you tell someone 'how it works' you need to be accurate as you are trying to spit facts.

Hiphop Forums?

And your 19?

You dont even know what hip hop is then...

Lets not mention hiphop in a drake post.... please...Drake moved the goal posts, not anyone here. Hip hop used to be if your a "lyricist" you go into a booth and kill it.. Not read it off a blackberry from someones email or someshyt. Lets not pretend this dude isn't a fraud, he got called out from 1 ghost writer for 3-5 songs, so we gonna just assume he got caught for all 100% of his ghost writing? Or is there more... did he get called out the FIRST time he used one? :sas2:

I am fine with ghostwriters, I know dre, diddy, kanye use them, which is fine, they are hit makers, not lyricists. So lets rip down Drakes goal post and put up a new one... in the hitmakers section

Oh and take his ass off of Sprite Quote cans, we dont even know whats his quotes anymore

Pathetic,

this nikka really gon compare an album that has been available to purchase for 3 years to an album that has been available to purchase for 1 year :wow:

I pity you, go outside you fukking nerd. I've seen you in EVERY single drake thread going harder than anyone else for a nikka you "don't care about" without fail :dame:, ol comic book reading ass nikka.

If you actually went outside to a club/party and socialised with people you would realise that Drake is hotter than he's ever been before. Every song sounds like drake featuring drake there's is none of this "decline"

So by your logic you saying that Q wrote all the verses to those songs. Then recorded a reference track using entirely different verses afterwards?

And yes writers and producers send artists stuff all the time and 80% go unused or can pop up on a different record later on than it was originally intended for

Can we really call this drake's album? Or is this really a cover album?
I see what you did there but you have to cover a popular song made popular by the original performer.

Because I enjoy listening to drake, don't get it twisted and assume I don't listen to 90s hip hop, I do enjoy some of that boom bap shyt but I'm tired of :flabbynsick: nikkas with dust in their ears letting their nostalgia cloud their judgement.

Nikkas are seeing everything with rose-tinted glasses and fail to realise drake studied the game to the letter, and he's not doing it the same man he's doing it better :whoo:

As for the ghostwriting, Drake is already an established songwriter, it's like some of yall are a bunch of children who look up to these 90s nikkas as heroes who can do no wrong when nikkas in the industry have already established ghostwriting is very prevalent in hip hop and it's not even ghostwriting, QM was credited :martin:
