Nah, brehFamily Matter was not viewed as the best technical rapping ability by most people. I would say that song would be Euphoria. Also, Drake wasted half of the song on nikkas that don't matter because he didn't have enough to say about Kendrick. His inability to focus on the only person that mattered in this is a huge reason why people said his disses didn't hit as hard as Kendricks.

I think throwing the shots at everyone on Push Ups was smart. Address it and move on as they're nothing compared to Kendrick, but Family Matters should have been strictly a Kendrick diss. You see it, it was stupid of him to throw shots at everyone on Push Ups then do it again on Family Matters

"House sittin’ on some land, but it’s out where no one even really know y’all nikkas
bytches gotta drive two hours ’fore you pay ’em just to give a blowjob, nikka"
Ross lawst. Said that nikka live in the middle of nowhere with complete privacy and got bytches on standby to slide through when needed![]()

Seems very clear that both Ak and Drake are struggling with the fact that Kendrick refuses to operate in what they consider to be a normal fashion: frequent use of social media, interviews or public access, and a frequent release of music. Because he's not doing any of that it makes it very hard to engage him. Which is why I think Ak is saying Drake is pivoting to other shyt. I assume he'll be clowning the other people (Weeknd, Ross, ASAP, etc), trying to harm their careers, and generally being a dikk. And whenever Kendrick drops his album the bots and Ak will declare it trash. And I think Drake will drop either the same day or the following week to force the comparisons.
Outside of that there's nothing he can do to fukk with Kendrick. Sounds like Drake doesn't want to engage in disses anymore so the goal will be to turn public opinion. If he wants to play games running a semi political campaign against Kendrick, be my guest. I think our guy has more dirt on Drake than the other way around.

He absolutely lost. Thats not debatable. Kendricks's chess game in this battle was a thing of absolute beauty. He was multiple steps ahead the entire time. What I have always said was that LYRICALLY this battle was close. Way closer than people are willing to admit. To me Family Matters is the best diss track of the battle with Euphoria a super close #2. I don't really get into the who brought up what thing. Rap battles always get personal. Eventually someone was always going to say something that makes the other push it further. Thats just how it goes. The fact that Kendrick had Meet the Grahams already recorded removes him from having some moral high ground. Drake went to hell and Kendrick was already sitting there waiting for him.Nah Drake clearly lost this - NLU is one of the worst tracks that dropped in the whole exchange but it's an undeniable culture shifter. Drake went toe to toe with Kendrick from a rap standpoint but Kendrick easily outmanoeuvred him in terms of strategy.
It would be interesting to see what the battle would've looked like if Drake heeded Kendrick's warning and not bought family into it - Kendrick would've probably still won as technically he's the better rapper but Drake showed he could've clearly kept up in that regard. It just would've been interesting to see how Kendrick would've approached battle without being able to use MTG and NLU because Drake bringing up family gave Kendrick the option to go nuclear. If Drake kept it rap then the battle could've been a lot closer which then changes the optics as Kendrick is expected to wipe the floor with him from a technical standpoint.
What Gucci said to Jeezy was wayy more foul than anything in this battle. They eventually squashed it. In fact, most rap beefs get squashed eventually. If you accuse someone of being a PDF file or a wife beater in a public forum then it's gonna be up forever - those are two of the worst accusations you could place on someone
