Yes in real time. Im saying its possible look back on it and feel different. Maybe longer then 3 years. LL beat Canibus in real time. I think alot of people look back and wonder how LL was crowned the winner. We don't know how time changes people perspective on who won lyrically. People look back and say Jay won over Nas. I mentioned in another thread how I don't see how LL possibly won over Kool Moe Dee. Im sure it felt way different in real time then me listening to the tracks well after the fact. You just never know. Drake did well enough in this battle for it to be at least somewhat debatable amongst people who aren't bias.No they won't

These cats are essentially arguing he's the top rapper in 2024 because of "One Dance", "Hotline Bling", "Passionfruit" and "MIA" with Bad Bunny.
And yes, obviously he has raps songs on that list....but his fans are only playing his old sh*t like he died.
The last song he had in the Billboard top 20 was "Family Matters" 4 months ago. He hit #28 with "It's Up"....then it fell to #46 a week later. None of his new songs have any traction.
I don't understand how the same Drake fans/stans are in every thread defending him tooth and nail, but don't care enough to listen to his new sh*t. It's mind boggling. Bumping songs from "Take Care" is not helping Drake in 2024.
Say what you want about Kendrick fans/stans but "Not Like Us" is #4, "Like That" is #26, and even "Euphoria" just left the Hot 100 like 2 weeks ago.
