Good kid? What album?Funny how the other time Kendrick went with a west coast sounding album the narrative was that it was for white people

He's unquestionably using Drakeos flow on some of the records on here. It's OK alot of artists from the west have borrowed from him and are paying homage whether it be delivery, that off beat style of rappin or his flow patterns. I been bumpin the fukk outta Kendrick. He'll I been bumpin the hell outta OTM. He aint trying to sound like Drakeo, but that flow is certainly the keeping The Truth alive. Listen to Hey Now ("what the fukk you wearin bro its tacky"), then listen to the hook on this:Kendrick not stealing nobody flow. He went super west coast on that tape and by default people will hear similarities to Drakeo cause everybody else had already copied/was influenced by his sound. So Kendrick is just sounding LA, and LA sound like Drakeo. Not like this nikka out there rapping like OTM, some literal Drakeo clones

OTM is not one person, it consist of two rappers, blue peso and Duffy, and every single song they’ve ever made sounds exactly like they are trying to replicate a Drakeo song, down to the lingo, cadence, and soft rapping voice.
Kendrick will have moments where it will remind you of Drakeo by default because damn near all current LA rappers were influenced by his style, and Kendrick is tapping into that overall sound, not stealing that man’s flow. It’s semantics at the end of the day, but it is a distinction.
This is an example of someone taking his style
I know otm is a group...never once did I say they were one person. Like I said...I bump the fukk outta them. It's OK they ran with his style he cosigned them. When I said "he" i was referring to Kendrick...It's OK Dot is running with his flow...he's elite with it. Nobodys complaining...but to act like he aint doin it is some dikkrider shyt.
Jazz and funk are not exclusive to the WestFunny how the other time Kendrick went with a west coast sounding album the narrative was that it was for white people
Who would I be dikkriding? I listen to both. I'm not disrespecting or praising any artist in here. What would there be to disagree about. I pointed out a fact. The very same flow pattern Drakeo used on Vince Mcmahon when he says "Evil thoughts, beams and glocks, i'm Chrome Hearted" is used by Kendrick on Hey Now, 3 years after Drakeo's passing when he said "what the fukk you wearin bro its tacky" down to the syllable. You got people in here saying "they never post examples" and that's as clear of an example as you can find tho there's certainly others. I'm not knockin Kendrick, its probably my favorite song on GNX. You don't have to call it biting, stealing, or whatever you consider to be negative. But the truth is the truth. Kendrick is purposefully using the flows Drakeo popularized all over this album.Breh I listen to Drakeo way more than I done ever listened to Kendrick. We can leave it at agreeing to disagree. I’d rather do that than call you a dikk rider for disagreeing cause that’s how good threads go completely left
TPABGood kid? What album?
It’s not but Wesley’s Theory, You ain’t gotta lie, King Kunta, These Walls all sound like something that if you told people Quik produced they’d believe you.Jazz and funk are not exclusive to the West

Drakeo got that flow from the Bay
What’s the best Drakeo album and mixtape to start at?
