Hotline bling is like a top 20 song. He just dropped a "mixtape" earlier this year that's platinum. He just won a beef convincingly. Struggling is the last thing to define Drake right now.

The platinum mixtape which had ghostwritten songs on? Drake will always have the charts on smash but I think it's a fair criticism to say his style hasn't evolved and he is aware of that and is trying to find a direction for Views which is why he keeps aligning with guys like Makkonen, Skepta etc. trying to find that next sound/wave.

I do care about hiphop but like I said previous times before why is drake the antichrist ? Not Kanye or Kim or puffy ? Hiphop isn't only about lyrics or cannibus would be goat. I listened to reference tracks , QMs music , and drakes mixtape . I'm not sure what their actual relationship is as QM Lyrically is meh but collaborating to make the best music possible is fine with me . Nas is my favorite rapper

If anything Drake's style is constantly evolving, that Vinylz/40/Boi-1da IYRTITL sound was the latest and was different from anything he had done previously. Yeah he might be in the process of finding a direction right now, but this is the man who's done every flow in the book and evolved from a Little Brother/Lil Wayne type to a Mood Muzik Joe Budden/808s Kanye to whatever he is now, Makkonen or whoever reap more aligning with Drake than he does with them

With an exposure like the one we just had, the latter is being rightfully questioned.

I don't really rank people but I like him better than kdot big Sean etc . It's drake and Cole world for my listening enjoyment then kdot etc . I never ranked drake as the best of all time or something . I'm not sitting here holding Sprite ads as some sort of metric to make me mad

I don't think IYRTITL was that much an evolution from what Drake had done previously tbh, of course the artists who Drake aligns with stand to gain more, Drake moves units.
