after Charged Up and Back 2 Back...I don't see any more debate about the man's talent being in question.drake is better lyricist (with ghostwriters allegedly) than future but this tape proves that just because you're a better lyricist doesn't mean it will sound good over trap beats.
i remember having discussions a while back irl that nas would sound terrible over trap beats. beats like this are designed more for flow and rhythm than just lyricism.
that's why i think future outshined drake on this mixtape on songs where they were together because future just has a talent for flow and rhythm, this whole tape was drake trying to keep up with future's style.
you finally see when drake got back in his own lane on the 30 for 30 freestyle he was more comfortable with that style of beat and was able to snap.
