In terms of today's standards and culturally it is going to be a marker of transition in hip hop and your seeing it now. People want that substance again. Look at all the people hating on the Lil Baby album. Sure that music will have it's place but in terms of dominating it won't be. That's why Drake gotta figure something out during this shift if he wants to be on top again.

Also Rap Fans have sided with K dot if this next project is a dud people will officially say his run has come to an end. They already crowning K dot as the leader of "the big 3".
Man imagine if Kendrick does some type of R&B collab with an artist and drop the sametime Drake drops and does more numbers.

I remember someone posting in the GNX thread that the label didn't know Kendrick planned to drop that day. He just called them up and said it's go time and it dropped, hence the weird morning release timing. That's the only reason I kinda believe this story. Drake allegedly wanted to drop the same day as Kendrick anyway so why would he back down?

People can say anything and they go off on it like it's fact. These same people were believing Ebony Prince was about to destroy Drake.Another bot thread citing a random twitter account.
