In what ways
Breaks down the J.Cole/Drake Nas/Jay duality that the media pushed, breaks down how he got in.

@hex I remember saying how excited I was for views, and I think you/me were right when we said that it was supposed to his first true Hip Hop album that got scrapped after Meek took his credibility, which is why he went the pop route. He had to.

IYRITL was an experiment to see how people reacted to a majority rap album. People loved it.

Meek really fukked up this nikkas career on some next shyt

Views originally was supposed to be his actual magnum opus. No other reason why he would drop 0-100 in 2014 and 2015 IYRITL , then out of nowhere drops a pop album. It don't make sense.

He was preppin for that harder rap shyt for like 3 years.

Exactly. What this video really exposes is all the layers of perception that had to be cloaked on him and all the angles that had to be perfectly played just so he could be able to survive in the game. It shows how much sweat equity had to be put in that wasn't his own just so he could even be seen as a legitimate artist in hip hop and how they ultimately have to keep switching up his styles to keep up the charade.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
i always wonder.... what type of weirdo nikka spends days and weeks to make these fukking videos

you gotta do all the voiceovers... add in the background music... cut up the interviews and pictures and video clips... then put it all together and upload it

all to not have anyone care nor change anything

You dont need to fukking conspire to force people to be drawn to an artist

Either they like the music or they don't .....

It amazes me how you people been on this "drake is the epitome of all things evil campaign"

When you got worst artists out there like that mumbling phaggot out of atlanta so desperate for attention he wore a dress on his album cover

young-thug-jeffery-album-tracklist-1024x1024.jpg

But yet despite all that It FLOPPED... :manny:

Cause at the end of the day regardless of all the hype and marketing

At the end of the day its the people that decide what music they desire....

Had this same dumbazz argument with the "hip hop purist/psuedo conscious" artist NYOIL who swore up and down while we was live on air that ILLMATIC by NAS was a contrived conspiracy ploy by the industry

I told him GTFOH :camby: in so many words....

I had actually gotten into illmatic via a mixtape I "borrowed" from a friend when I heard a leaked track and decided MYSELF to purchae the album

Same way te legions of people are flocking to buy and download DRAKEs shyt....

The boy is doing numbers simply cause he has good product I witnessed everyone from simple minded thots to personalites like Judge Mathis say HE IS THIER FAVORITE ARTIST....

and rightfully so on the MAINSTREAM LEVEL he has consistently delivered in the pop culture format by simply making hits

Regardless who da fukking writers are behind the scenes....it really doesnt matter

This is an industry...where product is to be sold to meet a demand

You psuedo hip hop purists just dont understand :manny:

The only conspiracy going on is the conspiracy to get MORE MONEY.....

and alot of you aren't conspiring to do that :manny:

Yet you wonder how LYOR COHEN has been running shyt for 25 years now

But yall wanna focus on the "rapper" DRAKE :mjlol:
