A huge empire but built on ‘junk bonds’. Built on popularity and people turning a blind eye to corny behavior. Now that a light has been put on his corniness, people can’t unsee it. Now everything he does is seen as corny. He tried to jump on a trap anthem, tried to joke-song his way back in, tried to post family pics, father pics, petty clapbacks. If ever there was a song that doesn't feel inorganic or fishy, it's "Not Like Us". The love people have for that record is undeniable, I believe all the numbers. Shhit reminds me of "In Da Club" in terms of perfectly connecting with the people.

JUST had my niece and nephew for a few hours yesterday (ages 4&9) and my niece ASKED me to "play that one song". 4 year old nephew jiggin to that bih , singing the chorus and the end part, no lie.
