Mob ties sounds like thug wrote it :yeshrug:

Listening to the A side for the second time. It's pretty solid tbh but nothing to shout about really, nothing really stands out tbh.

For the most part no. There was a song where he essentially said what J. Prince said about not taking it to that level or whatever. He also had a line about iconic duos splitting or some shyt.
kanye sorta, kinda on 8 out of 10. it was light.

Guess this was a beef he KNEW he couldn't finish.

i dont think dude makes good albums anymore. Its a bunch of randomness and you make a playlist of the ones you find listenable

this might be better than Views, but this wasn't worth the wait. i expected alot better, especially with all this hype he been doing.

Sound sound sound
why does this shyt sound so sappy? :hhh: the first disc sounds all over the place. usually albums are seemless, that is not the case with this album. i'm gonna have to listen and see what stands out a little more. Pusha really let Drake get all in his feelings cause he's singing on most of these songs, even on the rap side. his Duppy Freestyle might be harder than the entire album.

So pusha in 2018 is what made drake start harmonizing on songs he’s also rapping on? ...ok, got it breh :ehh:

A side is good as hell. Haven't listened to the R&B side yet but hopefully that MJ track is fye.
Since my question getting ducked I’ll pull up personally. What song in particular was good? Maybe I missed it on first listen. I’m dead ass serious

Sitting here jammin' to Side B of Scorpion wondering why the hell did I have to suffer thru Side A.

IMO, there is one keeper (Emotionless) on Side A and somehow just 1 bad song on Side B (Ratchet Happy Birthday). Can't ever remember a double album with such a glaring difference in quality between discs.

It's a decent album for the most part. He could lose half of the second disc easily. First disc is solid but repetitive at times.

This is better than Views and More Life. I'll call a spade a spade and say this is one of his better projects but it's also kinda uneventful. It's your standard Drake, no surprises

I didn't walk away from this double album feeling like I learned anything new or heard anything new from Drake after all the hype :yeshrug:

On the 'A' side I personally liked (of the ones that haven't been released before)

Survival, Emotionless, 8 out of 10, Sandra's Rose, Talk Up and Is There More.

I liked the beat for Nonstop but the rapping was trash to me. I think 'Is There More' is the start of the B Side.
