...you can see how calling a vocally proud black man a c00n in a thread attempting to celebrate a half-white man who wore blackface might not be the play, right?

just doing a vibe check.
Man went 3 for 3 on the first page alone.

I gotta see how this ends!

The fact that this was posted like it was a flex but low key proved the point that boy was out here working working when he himself claimed to be taking a break is wild.

And please stop acting like that "loosie" that was dropped didn't have any motion because it wasn't put on DSPs. We know Dot gives us one of those every album. And it spawned multiple responses and freestyles but y'all timelines filled with the same people who think like you so you don't know any better.

Mr. Morale tour had 100+ shows over multiple continents. It's All a Blur was 80 shows in North America alone.

I have no issue with loosies, but the Coli trolls made Drake's seem like life and death. There needs to be a bigger conversation since the death of mixtape culture about letting artists throw records out there tho without judgement, we were in a better place when artists could do that.

I'm trying to understand the relevance of this fact? Is this a "well Drake grossed more on a domestic tour..." point?

Floor tickets were roughly the same for both tours but general tickets were cheaper on the Mr Morale tour. And that would make sense since Drake wasn't the only one getting paid on his tour, both Cole and 21 had to get paid.

That was completely self inflicted.

1. The accusations that he was testing the temperature on songs during the beef before he decided to claim them and put them up.

2. When he dropped the first set of material, it got pulled from everywhere randomly and then showed up on DSPs. A move that can be seen as him not having as much power with his music.

the relevance of tour sales? It set a new record. In fact it looks like it beat the record 3 times over, beyond impressive. Idk if the booth was meant to cover music business stuff but I’m sure it does.

as to the testing the temperature thing. why is that being seen as a negative even if it was true. and if it is negative, why is it not being ascribed to the Kendrick track would be my question.

I’m not sure what signed artist has the power to post and potentially monetize their music without their label being part of it. if anything, posting to socials seems to be how these guys are testing that theory. between Taylor made, 616 and the post beef tracks, still need more evidence as to what’s going on, but it’s interesting

Yes, it is impressive that he can command that type of ticket/merch price. A testament to his brand.

Wouldn't have a problem with it, if it wasn't a diss in the middle of a beef.

Direct to socials is very new for top of the food chain. It think it started with this beef and it's intention was to take away any doubt the music wasn't AI, it was authentic.
