It's not that cut and dry. My sister and I have the same parents yet I show a small amount of native and she doesn't. You can be more of one ancestor than another.
:dahell:

I don't think that is accurate. And if it is, then that is an extreme case and not the norm. Majority of the time, children get both their parent's DNA/Heritage.

nikka you dumb as hell aint no way you just asked this dumb ass shyt.
If I say my mom is 50% Japanese, isn't that telling you that I am 25% Japanese by default? Do I have to physically say it out loud for you to understand that I am also telling you my heritage by telling you my parent's?

So you think 2 people who could be 2 different sexes have the exact same DNA because they have the same parents?

coming from the same parents does NOT mean you have the exact same genetic breakdown

Drake is 40% African. You get half of your parents.

30% Nigerian
28% Cameroon/Congo
11% Ivory Coast/Ghana
7% Mali
4% Benin/Togo

80% Total for his father so 40% for him. Unless his mother has some African DNA...which is possible. Can't go based off looks and skin tone.

Plausible. But a lot of the big ethnic groups in Nigeria aren’t just indigenous to Nigeria - they’re in other countries. And there has also been a lot of migration over the years.

Anyway, I just don’t see Nigeria surviving the next 10-20 years before it implodes. It will most likely end up like Sudan-Darfur-South Sudan. And I wonder which country would appear on these DNA tests when that happens.

Regardless, it’s good that people are re-connecting with their roots tho.
Those ethnic groups may not just be indigenous to Nigeria, but they apparently predominantly are, as determined by genetic researchers/experts. The results aren't based on test takers choosing what modern nation to identify with as a trend.
