Why even post this Jess admitted she hasn't even listened to the album
I 1000% agree with anyone normally… but based off the clips they played for her, and being familiar with his catalog, her comments were fair. It does sound like something off his previous projects.

Funny how future hasn't grown up but gets no flack

Cole 40 now still rapping about middle school crushes. No flack

Jay still rapping about selling drugs :dead:

Pick and choose
It's mostly because introspective rap is viewed as more real and is therefore held to a higher standard. They see Drake nearly 40 rapping about relationships like a teenager, and it badly reflects on him as a person. On the other hand, people see Jay and Push's coke raps like action movies. They’re seen as tall tales, so no one takes them seriously.

Imagine Jay making “hey papi” at 40… I think this is what people are getting at

Edit: and even then the verse that starts off with “I was the worse/ I used to switch chicks everyday”… still shows a bit more growth

wtf does this even mean?
Ughhh… I’m saying, I understand folks reactions with Drake’s content. The same music he made in 2015 is the same as 2025. They’re complaining cause his content hasn’t necessarily grown with them. Leave me alone, I was playing “IYRTITL” earlier today lol

Fans really are fukking weirdos. They really will try to push you into maturity or something because they themselves want leaders to follow. Thats why Ebro should get dunked on more aggressively. Bro if you wanna go start some revolution, as an Apple Music employee, go do it, but leave artists to create what they want and let things shake out. What the fukk do you get outta trying to say a wealthy bachelor should be making family jams?
