Cassius Stanley, Brandon Boston, Amari Bailey, if Bronny lasts in the league longer than them we will know why
TBF I do think Boston and Amari get picked up by somebody eventually.

Stanley surprised me the most cause I thought he was the best of these guys and now he's SOL.

Amari should have stayed in college. They were giving out the bag at UCLA.

BJ Boston has potential. 6’8 wing who can handle the ball. He was outta luck playing behind PG and Kawhi and on a team with championship aspirations. Amari is just not good. He’s a perrenial G leaguer.

It’s not just Sierra Canyon. It’s all these talented American kids who are being purposefully sabotaged by the shoe circuits playing on talented teams. These kids either develop faster than their peers or reclassified to appear more advanced and can only play for a year in college before being exposed. None of these kids are going to school either and the careers last at best three years before they bottom out of the g league.

Doesn't make any sense to leave after 1 year to be a 2nd round pick in the NIL era unless you absolutely hate school.

Gotta be honest. Bronny puts up these #s in GLeague it would be considered a win:francis:

Amari has to just carve out a role. He's not as athletic or as pure of a shooter as one would like. However, if he develops (or stayed in college) he could have been solid bench player imo.

Agent gotta find the best spot for him (if he has options). Charlotte drafting Klutch Nick Smith Jr in the 1st round as well was going to take for him as well and then the other Klutch guy KJ Simpson this year.

League has to step in. If you're not drafted 1st round as a freshman you must return to school. Pay back offseason finances with NLI money.

Or just make a 2 and done rule.

With the way NIL going with these dudes getting bags at the college level I don't understand still wanting to hot shot it to the league. It ain't like it used to be, getting paid in college literally defeats the purpose of trying to rush to the league as fast as possible, shyt makes no sense. Especially when that reality hits and you ain't even coveted like that in the league.

Bailey had no business coming out after one year at UCLA. He did alright in the tourney that year he was there, but by no means was it a Steph Curry at Davidson run. But these cats looking at that NBA money like: "it doesn't matter where I get drafted, I'm getting it" mentality and see how real it is once they get into the league. :francis: Needs to go to the D-League or go overseas for a few years, then try to come back a better player.

Again I think breh gets signed, but why pass up the bag & fine women at UCLA for 10 punk ass games. And now at risk of going to Yugoslavia.

Agreed but I think he washes out early. He was putting up Campbell or Juzang numbers as a higher ranked recruit coming out of SC and look at where those guys are. They definitely can’t stay in college because they can’t complete the coursework required to compete there either. It’s an awful situation if you ask me.

Another thing is that guys are coming to college with the mindset that they’re only doing one year and going to the league. It used to be guys would go to the college expecting to be there multiple years and then if they have a great freshman year they leave. Only like the Kevin Durant-D Rose-John Wall level prospects knew they were going straight to the league

Then on top of that they have nothing but yes men in their camp giving bad advice. Telling them “Oh it’s the coaches fault, your game is built for the NBA, the league will do a better job of developing you”. That’s the exact type of talk Rich Paul had on Gil’s show for Bronny, Chris Livingston, Justin Edwards

But what they fail to realize is for every GG Jackson there’s way more Trevon Duval’s, Cassius Stanley’s, Amari Bailey’s, Antonio Blakeney’s, Sharife Cooper’s, etc.
