Yep. The twisted irony of this thread is just like there are Instagram thots, Zaire and to a lesser extent Bronny bought into the Instagram bball hype. There was nothing wrong with Wade just finishing out his Sr year in Florida scoring 20+ and working on other parts of his game. He wanted to be where the stars where hoping he could get into an elite program. Instead he could have just stayed put and made the most of whatever school offered him.
You could argue Bronny has suffered most because he seems a bit caught up in the access a star's son gets in LA. Bron having him play on an AAU team with top 10 players forces him to just find a role. Then sending him to a HS with two top 5 players. Now Amari is another top 5 player. Not everybody is built to break out of their shell on their own. Sometimes it's being forced to carry the team or you're gonna lose that gets guys to reach their potential. Bron's gonna regret not just sending them to SVSM and forcing them to grow up on their own (obviously stay with family) in Ohio.
I dont know if Bron is just oblivious to how things are playing out with Bronny or as a parent he's gotta better read than anyone. He knows his son and Bronny's at best a role player anyway so just show schools he can do that on a good team
The entire game has changed.
Kids can get paid in college now.
Schools aren't necessarily going to be recruiting the "best" players, they're going to be recruiting the most endorsed players.
Bronny will be the highest paid college athlete of all time when he gets there, just for eyes he can bring in alone.
There's millions of people that will tune in every time he plays, just because it's Bron's kid.
He will be a starter at whatever college he wants to go to.
And then he's either going to get drafted, or will sign with Bron's team.
