You're doing too much.

You're not a Kanye stan even though you own a Kanye release and are quick to hyperbole his achievements, while I'm a Drake stan even though I've never purchased anything Drake nor bump anything in his discog outside of 3 songs? How does that work exactly? :laff:

Kanye being a producer is irrelevant if we're talking about writing. Like Drake, Kanye has had writers all while claiming to be elite. If we're talking about rapping, production is a whole other monster. If we must go there though, Kanye's got a camp of producers assisting him in that regard as well about as long as Drake's been a relevant artist.

Reading this reminded me of that Vibe Interview with Tupac after the 1994 shooting

It's not about what he's done. It's about the way they record. According to Kanye stans, Kanye's 808's & Heartbreaks fathered Drake. As I mentioned before, Kid Cudi was a major contributor to that album (as a writer). Even after that album, Kanye had teams of writers and producers assisting him. So basically, it's a like father, like son situation. It makes perfect sense that he'd want to record like Kanye considering Kanye is an artist that he obviously looks up to. Bu, bu, but 808's isn't a rap album. The same people claim that Drake isn't a rapper.
