Being a square from the 'burbs has been ok in rap since De La Soul came out damn near 30 years ago. I don't hate the guy at all. Just never stanned him. My dj literally has unreleased Drake versus on his HD...I mean he pretty much reached the most popular he's going to get. Not like he's gonna disappear, just won't do the same amount of numbers. He's over saturated himself. Add to it his core audience is aging and now approaching 20 something, his numbers will slightly come down. I could be wrong, but I don't see him releasing a project that does as well as Views. Doesn't mean he won't be a platinum artist moving forward, but I can see the Drake train slowing down a bit. Yeah he's the man here in Toronto, but Lanez is on that ass, and more accessible to underground cats. Jazz Cartier is doing big things as well, but Drake coming across corny, and if he don't watch out, those roids will have him looking like Busta soon...I can see him getting caught crying dinosaur tears over Rihanna some time soon, unless he breads her up, as well.
