From genius:

"Fake fukk with me back then
But it's gettin' hard for you to fake it now
fukk bein' rich when I'm forty, man, I'm tryna make it now"

This is a possible contribution to the cold-war of subs between Jay Z and Drake. Drake is firstly claiming that the person in question has always been fake even though they might have gotten on – after all the two collaborated on Pound Cake and on Off That. A significant portion of the content of the subs has to do with Drake claiming on Summer Sixteen “I used to wanna be on Roc-A-Fella then I turned into Jay” a claim which Jay responded to by claiming Drake first had to own his own. Drake responded on Sneakin' that “You ain’t own it right away, you had to wait on n*ggas / Man, I’m only 29, have some patience with us”.

The latest then came from Jay on Shining where he rapped “I shouldn’t even worry, backward nggas / 12 solo albums, all Platinum, ngga /I know you ain’t out here talkin’ numbers, right? / I know you ain’t out here talkin’ summers, right?”.

It is possible that Drake is claiming here that given all the to-and fro, that really it’s becoming obvious that there is no love between them and even that Jay was never real with him to begin with. Moreover, Jay Z is 47. He has enjoyed most of his wealth from his mid thirties and in his forties. Drake is perhaps saying he’s not patient enough to wait so long, wanting the wealth now; doing it earlier than Jay. This is perhaps recanting on his earlier claims about Jay being patient with Drake’s success.
