I got to applaud Drake's vision in terms of he's setting himself up to be THE artist of the black diaspora.

he checks all the boxes.

hip-hop ✓
trap ✓
r&b ✓
dancehall ✓
grime ✓
african house ✓

he's attempting to make his reach to every black culture from the US to England to Jamaica to Africa.

masterful plan.

Agreed. In the Semtex interview he alluded to how he felt a bit uninspired and his decision to move to other genres was just a reflection of him being influenced by his other musical tastes and wanted to finally implement them within his sound. He's actually doing alot of new stuff here, as well as pleasing his old fans/sound. Decent project

:yeshrug:Some dope songs, nothing crazy. And UK rappers will never be big in states imo. This was their best shot and they blew it

Desiigner and Lil Uzi are the big upcoming prospects in the US market lmao.

Giggs a legend already. Drake honoured to have him on his project.

Yup. Being born in America and having Parents from Africa sonically this album resonates with all of the sounds people in my age group grew up on and enjoy currently around the world.

I can't get with the UK rappers, but SONICALLY this album is legit. Nothing on this album "sucks" per say, I think anything people don't like on here is simply something they are disconnected with. For example I think the UK artist are trash but there is a whole continent of people who enjoy it, so what do I know in the grand scheme of things.
