You simply not following a stranger is NOT the same as UNFOLLOWING your friend. He followed him previously, then made it a point to go on Instagram and REMOVE him. So it begs the question as to why did you feel the need to remove him? Usually it means you mad at the person or something happened which caused you to do it. If they never followed eachother to begin with thats a different story. But the action of unfollowing him is what the issue is.
That being said, I dont understand people who keep tabs on who unfollows who.
