Family Ties he's talking about smoking top 5s... and then he drops Big Steppers and its an introspective therapy album

These are just a couple examples. Then you got shyt like the leaked ELEMENT verse, the BET Cypher, etc etc...

Heart Part 4 was about Big Sean. Big Sean was throwing subs at Kendrick but then called him to peace it up so Kendrick didn’t take it any further.


The Family Ties verse was basically Control lite. He wasn’t specifically talking about Drake he was talking about EVERYBODY. Your right that he switched it up when it comes to the content of Mr Morale, but Family Ties was a guest verse not a full Kendrick Lamar song meant to represent the content or direction his album was going to explore. Mr Morale dropped NINE MONTHS after Family Ties.


Drake likes to act like just because his writers finally cooked up some suitable bars for him to go at Kendrick that he’s ALWAYS been ready for war when this is the SAME guy who whined on Big Boy’s show about the Control verse and how nobody would want to be friends with Kendrick or be on his album anymore. The SAME guy who remained silent when Kendrick called him out live at the BET Cypher. The SAME guy who popped shyt on a nationally televised show and then panic called to have the show shut down, threatening to not host an awards show if the network didn’t pull it. The SAME guy who called Kendrick a King live on stage. THAT guy hasn’t been ready for war for ten years. He’s ready NOW and thats all well and cool. Metro and Future dedicated this project to dissing this nikka. He obviously waited to see what else they had to say and if there was additional people who needed to be addressed.

Kendrick ain't in the same predicament. Kendrick has one guy to fight who has already responded twice. We don't know when Dot recorded Like That, but its clear he didn't have a follow-up ready to go in the event Drake came back at him.

Obvious but is it warranted? He just said he been known about this for a decade. He shouldn't have to wait for the second album.
If that's the case Drake maybe shouldn't have released Taylor Made. Kenny might not think he's completely done either. He just did shyt back to back. Maybe a third dis is on the way since he pulled back Taylor Made.
