I gotta call bullshyt on "DMX got robbed in Toronto!" or whatever the hell people are saying.

Not because it's impossible....because anybody can get robbed anywhere....but because all these Canadian cats conveniently just happen to remember the shyt directly after DMX shyts on that area? And I've literally never heard anything about it prior to today.

C'mon son. It's 2012, you should be able to find some kinda concrete proof. And I don't mean links to people that said somebody said it happened, anywhere between 1999 and 2009, because that's all I've seen on the topic.

Fred.

I mean what context would it come up in? Someone's supposed to just make a "brehs remember when DMX got robbed" thread...idk....

A lot of MCs have come across trouble in the US that's not broadcast or known news, especially if it happened before the internet era.

I just don't see the obscure need to lie about something like that

nah I remember hearing about that shyt years agoo... but then again it coulda been made up back then :manny:

How many rumors do we hear about rappers though? In Toronto? One of the safest places on the planet? I mean....nah man. I don't see it. The crime stats in the worst parts of Toronto are on par with the 'burbs in the States. And I'm not talking shyt, that's great. It just makes these kinda stories damn near impossible to believe.

You don't see the need for people to latch onto this particular rumor, directly after DMX shyts on that area? A rumor which nobody paid any mind to prior to today? And it happened in one of the safest places in the entire world?

For real? :wtf:

I mean it's not a rumor perse, it's a response to him saying what he said...it's not like this revelation and him saying what he said are really mutually exclusive events. It came up in this thread directly related to him and Toronto, not only that when I personally say I searched it I saw entries from years ago.

And you can be as safe as you want there's a hood everywhere

*He criticizes Lil Kim when she never said a word to him, he was jumping in the middle of a female Beef (Lil Kim dissed him on "Black Friday" he never replayed, also Lil Kim was very close to Aaliyah, I don't think she would of liked Drake dissin her girl)

*Then he criticized a vet like Luda's flow, ever if you think the line is wack, who is Drake to talk about anyone's lyrics? especially with a style that's no new in Hip Hop, this generation just put a spin on an old flow. (Luda dissed him on Bada-boom, he never replied)

*Common only orginally said if he think "Sweet" is about him then so be it. Then Mr. "You'll never hear a reply" comes back and tries to act hard with Ross and Montana by his side (Mr. Yolo couldn't go at Com for Dolo) and goes at Com. (Com comes back and disses him over the same beat very harshly, Drake never replied but the matter was settled)

*DMX was asked in serveral interviews what he though about Drake, He said he wasn't feeling him but he didn't know him. After Drake released a new Aaliyah song without Timbaland and Missy, He does several interviews about his displeasure of Drake and how he handled releasing new Aaliyah material. Yes it was harsh, Yes it was Disrespectful but X clearly has a problem with him. (It's doubtful Drake will respond to X, he know X don't F*ck around, so he'll let his people do the dirty work)

That's 4 Certified Hip Hop Vets, Legends to many Hip Hop fans. Are they all Wrong for calling out Drake? Are they all hating? Is it all for Sales? or is someone getting a little Big Headed and disrespectful? You tell me.

If X ever got the fortune to run up on Drake one on one it'd be like the malibu's most wanted scene where Jamie Kennedy was talking whiter than white
