This lawsuit might change Hip Hop forever It’s one thing to sue for funny business with a label and streaming (still hoe shyt, but let’s say you give him that)

but to sue for defamation? in a rap beef?

all them URL nikkas better lawyer up :laff:

this is crazy.

but this is literally the end result of letting a small hat into hip hop spaces.

indefensible
They are going to have to sign contracts before they hit the stage saying they wont take action :snoop:

:dame: outside that skit i fukked with that diss.. i liked how it ripped off forgot about dre

There was a lot of heat on that album in general that is overlooked, though the trash tracks (fukk Hollywood, Gangsta'd Out, The Coff) weighed it down. Thankfully that album marked the beginning of the end of Tha Realest being the focal point of the label because of Crooked I.

True but none of that's as damaging as being a pedo lmao
People that don't even listen to rap know 69god hey hey hey hey run for your life :dead:

Tooling up against UMG for promoting the song but not the person who made it is a choice

There's something going on with UMG & him that he's willing to crash completely the fukk out over. Maybe it's worth it but I doubt it somehow, even damn tech blogs talking about it yesterday had comment sections totally shytting on him. He's an embarrassment on almost every corner of the internet
I know, but that's the thing, if you know there's shyt out there about you, why even open the door for somebody to go nuclear on you and bring it to light.

And this was after Kendrick told him twice not to go there after he mentioned his girl on Push Ups.

The End
this shyt worse than the samples case from the 80s
easily. could set a dangerous precedent any time you say something another rapper don’t like he could just lawyer up.

it was never illegal to do that just against rules of the culture

at the end of the day rap is words over music

people sue over defamation in documentaries, articles, and books all the time.

hip hop been protected from that because there’s an agreement amongst the combatants that it’s just something you don’t do, not because it was ever impossible.

this is a bad door to open

If y’all don’t believe that Kendrick is The Boogeyman now, I don’t know what to tell you. The man leaves a trail of destruction.

Turned Drake into a Canadian Karen who chose litigation over lyrics

Made J Cole fall back and start a career in podcasting

Got Lil Weezy depressed and soaked in his own tears

Made Uncle Snoop bow down and kiss the ring

Banished Big Sean to the Shadow Realm

Who’s next?

:demonic:
