Man please if Nas of Lupe had that hook on song Yall would be in frenzy

Since it's Drake yall treat like an after thought
If Lupe did it, it would be NEW. You don't understand that Drake does that type of hook consistently. Haters hating on me? You've never heard that from Drake before?

Why are you talking about subject matter? It's not a legitimate criticism. Rappers rap about what they feeling when they in the booth and for the most part a rappers raps about the same shyt

Its not the most part, it's closer to 95% of the time. The only reason it's that low, is because he's put the female bytching to nearly nonexistence while choosing to be this all out depreciator of anyone that's ever criticized him. And it's not like this hook is amazing or something, it's just catchy.

It seems Drake has a simple recipe that he knows nikkas like you are gonna eat up in 2015
• hook that will either mention haters, other rappers that may not like his music, bragging, or some simping to a female
• a beat that usually contains with a catchy sample, one that he knows is gonna stick around in the head a while (Lauryn Hill, Danny McBryde, this energy track contains one too I feel)
And here's where the most diversity comes, the overall subject matter ranges from haters, simp shyt, bragging, or him spitting. Usually you can tell this by the hook, you don't really need to listen to this song

Tell me where I'm wrong here

A catchy hook = effective hook.

What I'm saying is all rappers rap about shyt their comfortable. You can't criticize a rapper for subject matter because rappers rap about what they want to. Not what random person wants to hear from them

I'm not saying he should switch, I'm saying alot of the shyt that's on this album, is shyt he's done over and over again. How does that not come off as BAD to you? You're supporting an artist that is basically complacent where he's at, even though he says different. He's basically feeding you BS.

Whats complacent about this album? There are all kind of flows on this shyt. The production is top notch and he's rapping his ass off. What else does music have to be.
