I love the soundscape and ambiance he's painting on this but I'm not feeling it yet. Gonna give it more time. Every song sounds really, but that's good in a way cause at least there's a focused theme but it's also sort of repetitive.

This is the type of music corny girls wearing beanies with overly contrasting lipstick to complexion ratios listen to, but it isn't bad. Just hope I start to feel it a little more.

Only thing that caught me off first listen was 6 God, jungle and 6 pm in NY.

I can definitely see why this was a mix tape.

I think NWTS was better than this.

Will listen throughout the weekend tho.

It ain't like New Orleans ain't make woadie from a west coast term brodie. So, everybody steals Drake just give that word meaning
I was always under the assumption that "woadie" is just "Ward-ee/y/ie" but it sounds
different because of the accent/dialect unique to New Orleans and is a direct reference
to the Wards of New Orleans.
I might be wrong but I don't think it has anything to do with "brodie" at all actually.

This is false

Woe is short for woadie, he's appropriating southern slang, new Orleans slang in this instance.
Annnnndddd just like that the song has an entirely different meaning.
I figured "Woes" meant his plight, issues etc. but now it just means his boys.
He could've taken "Know Yourself" somewhere else but he didn't.

After listening to this a couple times, this aint no classic tape and I wouldnt even say go as far to say it's "FIRE" but it's some good music to throw on, chill out and ride to... from Star67 on is when the tape really starts to pick up... if he kept the second half of the tape, Legend, Energy and Know Yourself and scrapped the rest I would probably rate it higher

I like how heads can't admit that the production on the first handful of tracks is reminiscent of 90's Mobb and WU. Like you cant see ghost flowing on No Tellin or prime Prodigy on 10 Bands. But I'm a let you live though.
