That was average at best:francis:
He's been on this same flow for like 2 years now:francis:
Drake might need to get them Larry Holmes papers ready:francis:
Yeah he's shown an astounding lack of artistic depth :snoop:

Dude does a radio friendly Weeknd impression... and then gets to tough talking. Always has something to prove..

Nobody, just me
If Drake is gonna talk about the same shyt, he should atleast experiment with different flows and be more witty and clever with his bars, like Wayne can.

I liked Energy, 6PM in NY, Know Yourself, and Legend. Everything else was lukewarm or gahbage.

I gotta let this joint cook and simmer for a bit to decide where I stand on it :patrice:meanwhile here's my first impressions

Legend - Nice. Drizzy season is upon us. Seems like a fitting intro. Anticipation is at an all time high:feedme:
Energy - I ain't mad at this. I'm not as big of a fan of the new shouty Drake but it's aight. Need more simp Drake with underwater 40 production tho:wow:
10 Bands - Ehhhh. Not much to say on this one. :yeshrug:More shouty Drake.
Know Yourself - This my favorite song so far. I fukk with this:salute:WIT MY WOES
No Tellin - This tape starting to sound a bit samey:francis: Need more simp Drake or beats that aren't at that same tempo. Like lots of these new joints sound just like "the language". I like the last two minutes of this joint tho.
Madonna - Really wasn't feelin this until that 40 outro:banderas:
Star67 - I fukk with this. More excellence from 40. Plus that old Weezy interview in the intro:noah:
Preach - All of these sound like the same song dressed up differently to me, if that makes sense. Random thought. Anyways this has a nice vibe. I fukk with it:manny:
Wednesday Night Interlude - This one of them things that COULD sound good but is overdone and ultimately:trash:. Good music wasted by PND's echoey vocals
Used to - Weezy saving this:krs: already heard tho
6 Man - Finally a song that don't sound slow as fukk. I rock wit this :win:
Now & Forever - :ahh:This shyt sounds good.
Company - This probably the best thing I've heard so far from Drake using that flow that I'm tired of already but I like this song:datazz:
You & the 6 - That real Drizzy:to:Definitely the best put together track so far. I was beginning to lose hope but I guess he was just having fun with some joints
Jungle - I vibe with this:ehh:
6PM in New York - :blessed::lawd::salute:

SINY!!
I think Drake has some STRONG language in his contract that states he has full creative control of his albums and when they drop. If I remember correctly that was one of the great jobs his lawyer did with his contract.

If everyone remembers, there was a huge bidding war and even talk of him doing it completely independently rather then signing with a major. He was a rarity in that no unsigned artist ever had hype behind him like he did. He basically held all the cards, everyone wanted a piece and he pretty much got everything he wanted out of his deal. Like you stated, great job by his lawyers and management to get him that deal

Only song I don't like is that shyt with Wayne and party next door. Drake snapped on energy.
