The beat change on Know Yourself is hall of fame status 
I don't see what everyone's problem is. It seems with Drake's last two records everyone was bytching about him not rapping enough, now he makes an album which is 90% rap and pretty aggressive in comparison at least to his past material and cats still aren't happy. What do you expect, him to go in over DJ Premier and Diamond D beats? People have had weird expectations over Drake's music from day one. It's like some people pretend to be fans just to throw shots.

My grife with the beats to describe it generally is they r a tad empty. bland. Colorless. But I loooove Jungle, and You & The 6 is cool a really 'home'y vibe, and 6PM In New York makes me happy. Used To is pretty good and Energy is passable I suppose cool beat nice hook... rest I dont care for or dislike or both. Oh wait. 6 God is funny sounding beat I kinda like it also and the name of the song. Madonna is cool I also kind of dont like it.

He's on pop and even some rock radio stations. I never heard him on hip hop radio tho.

Its garbage breh, doesn't even sound like he tried on this one. Just threw some throwaways together and watched y'all eat it up.
As someone who doesn't like him singing (cuz he can't sing, he just whines/speaks melodramaticaly on a record), he doesn't need to just rap anything, he needs to rap to his capabilities. No one's talking about premier or diamond beats, I can cite a gang of Drake songs and features that illustrate what he's capable of.

I don't know if it's more funny or sad at how much reaching you guys are doing for quotables in this thread. This mixtape is saved by production, ever since Drake did Versace he's been turning in lackluster verses and why shouldn't he if his stans are gonna keep dikkriding him anyway? There's still glimmers of talent, 10 Bandz, You and the 6, and the very last song are good. But if his album isn't significantly better than this mixtape the fall-off will have begun

He's not really addressing those issues in particular but rather how issues like that are presented to the media, and how easily people forget about it once media attention dies down
