I was running and this song came on and it got me thinking.

Drake is kind of an a$$hole to the girl he's singing to. He talks about leaving her stuck in the city and he gets to leave and experience the world and what was she supposed to do? Sit around and wait for him to come back. So since she can't have Drake she says fukk it then I'm gonna be a hoe. Then he pops back up telling her to stop being a hoe when if it wasn't for Drake she would've never gone the way she did. Then he tells her "You should just be yourself" basically putting her down for being what he created. Unless Drake means the songs supposed to be more of him being sad and saying all these things to protect his ego cause he's kicking himself for not sticking with her when he had the chance.

Either way these are the type of songs Drake does best, not that pulling up on people and catching bodies an shyt.

His magnum opus and really his discography post-TML is the same thing breh "I blew up and I'm running through strippers but I heard the Toronto girls I left are moving on and I'm feeling funny bout it...but these strippers ain't getting saved so what's a nikka to do" :heh:

Drake shines in showing the inconsistencies and complications that come with not understanding what you want in a relationship with a women

This girl was an after though for Drake a girl that he always had in his back pocket until she switched it up for herself and start enjoying life

Now he's wondering if the girl he was fukking with was even really her
