I always said I would prefer if he just put out an album with less rap instead of posing so much, maybe this isn't what I had in mind but I'm open to giving it a spin later today. Maybe more R&B instead of house if he's gonna scale back on rapping.

I think I'm not even going to bother trying to spin this until next week.

You can't make a whole album of dance songs and no one of them hits lol, so something should pick up off here but I'm not in a rush to here the whole thing.

I’m not mad at Drake for this album. For ONCE he went outside his comfort zone and did something different.

Very few tough guy raps, and no sub shots at Pusha, Kanye, and Kendrick. For that I give him props for :obama:

Other then that, I like a few songs and I can see myself putting it on a playlist and/or I can hear some of this played at day parties.

But I promise you this, this album will be lost in the sauce by next month.

Exactly …a guy with drakes overall artistic cache should be doing this wayyyy more often …as opposed to giving us these canned sounds of the moment pop-hop n’ b retreads …shyt is beyond trite ….shyt might not be everyone’s cup of tea but that’s what artist are supposed to do ..challenge the conventions of even yourself …I respect it …the music is cool nothing spectacular..but the ambition is refreshing

Damn this shyt is below mediocre.

Why put this out? Who okayed it?

Hate to say it but Drake is officially washed. He had his run. A solid 8 year run but it's over.

As a straight up househead that grew up on Jersey and Bmore Club, this might be top 5 Drake albums for me... It's not even cause the music is some of the best I've ever heard from him. This production is like Music Choice Easy Listening compared to what I bump on the daily. Like, a few of these songs legit sound like something they would play in the background on The Weather Channel BUT I respect the experimentation from an artist as mainstream as him and what's gonna come from him dropping an album like this. Really anything that gets more of our people interested in electronic music gets a nod from me. There are still some of us that think house was created by cacs and not a nikka on the southside of Chicago.
