The irony of this statement coming from a Drake stan is
I agree that sales don’t dictate quality.
But Drake is the biggest rap-adjacent musician of our time, commercially speaking. And since sales track what people are listening to, obviously the album is not connecting with the general public.
I haven’t commissioned a study on the types of venues where Future is being played. Did you?

Had a listen while abroad . The album is spread for a broad demo. I even remember pre pandemic the dj would isolate Drake's vocals over my town's Techno and other party genres. Techno was founded and kicked off by brehs btw. The album is a nice change.
