Most artist don't receive royalties or the proper amount they are suppose to receive. Which is why they do so many shows because that is how they can make a lot of money when they are in high demand. Unless you know how much money is spent accurately, a record company can always say you didn't recoup. They can say they paid a lot to certain companies to do your project but the company is tied to them someway so the money went into their pocket. You need to have an audit done but they can duck and dodge that. The only way you know they will pay you is if they don't want nay problems form you because the industry is just like the streets. They prey on the weak.
Why do you think artist go into acting?. It's because you will get paid and have health insurance because so many people are needed to make a movie they can't jerk everyone or nothing will be made whereas with music anyone can get into it and you don't need that many people to make the music so JERKOLA IS IN EFFECT.
