That's a stretch, he makes catchy music, I don't think you need to be brainwashed to enjoy some of it. There was a good 3 year span (largely because I didn't listen to the radio other than NPR) that I didn't listen to Drake's music, but I got caught on Poundcake/Paris Morton Music 2 and actually took the time to listen to the rest of his music. Its made to be popular, its formulaic. Conscious people listen to his music to, even as transparently pandering as it is.
