Rhyming over drill beats seems hard, considering how ppl talk about how garbage the rappers that do are
The cadence makes it tougher to switch flows, use too many syllables and stay on beat so you find yourself picking and choosing whether you want to stay on beat or say something of substance. There's also not a lot of ambiance so people are less likely to hear and understand your words over the beat, so people rather be melodic than lyrical. That's what makes this song stand out, it has bars but is over a beat style that doesn't usually allow you to really fire off bars. The dynamics of picking beats is interesting, tbh.
