Hotline Bling peaked at number 2 on the US Billboard Hot 100. I'm not denying Drake's popularity because he is going to sell regardless. Do you really think One Dance would have been #1 if he hadn't signed with Apple? He signed over his integrity.
Why wouldn't it? :comeon: It doesn't even have a video. You're acting like it's not getting any outside of Apple Music.

Drake dropped two singles: One Dance and Pop Style. Pop Style low key flopped but let's just ignore that because it goes against the narrative that Drake's success is solely because of Apple Music. :comeon:

Also, Work, a song that was OVO produced hit no. 1 (the only Rihanna song from this era to do so); was Apple behind that too?

And what the fukk does "signing over his integrity" mean. What is this? fukking mad libs. Stop using words that you obviously don't understand the meaning of.

He never hit number one until he signed the deal is my point. Rhianna's single is produced by Drake's crew so there's the Apple cosign. You don't notice a trend here? You're proving my point by saying One Dance doesn't even have a video but it's number one in record time for him. If you can't see how he has sold his integrity after reading this then I can't help you. Let's sit back and watch what his next single from this album does.

Correlation ain't causation, nikka.:comeon:

And as hard as it is to believe, Drake is also a million times more popular today than he was three years ago. He also made an album that was more mainstream than any of his previous works.

Also If You're Reading This... came out in Feb. and all the songs from that hit the charts as well and sold 500K in three days. This was months and months before he signed with Apple. I guess Apple was responsible for that too. :troll:

And Controlla is probably hit no. 1 too since it's a million times better than One Dance. So I don't know what that last sentence of yours was about.

None of those singles from that mixtape came close to even breaking into the top 100.

And I say this as a fan

It's like he was so tame on this album

These new wave of artists (thugga, uzi etc.) are really making drake seem wack tbh

:whoa: Man still does not have a classic lp release. His predecessors did that have several number 1 hits and still had the game locked. He might be billboards pet project at the moment.... But he still has yet to deliver that classic effort. Not to mention he doesnt write nearly as much as he led the world to believe.

who cares

Thats all comes down to opinion. So far gone and comeback season already solidify his discography for me :manny: this is a tangible achievement, something that cant be taken away by the whims of crtics

Its a pretty wide spread opinion though. Popularity with lacking content don't mean shyt in the long run.... Even Ja Rule has a classic record...... Just saying don't rush to giving him goat status until he can do what all the goats can do..... They all managed to sell a shyt load of music too.... But they had the material to back those sales.... Not just the hype....Don't let the Jew machine trick you into believing hype is somehow better than talent. It never is and never will be....
