Historically, album cuts weren't allowed to chart. That record is not that impressive and someone would have had it already if album cuts were allowed to chart back in the day.

#1 record is dope though
he did this last year with IYRT too

Skip ya like a spacebar
Y'all were over here making thread after thread talking about him being washed but this is undoubtedly his peak. In a way I can't blame him for putting out such a stagnant, redundant album. Why shake up the formula when you're at the top?

Every move he's made with this project was well calculated too. From having 20 songs and adding Hotline Bling to the tracklist to ensure massive streaming numbers, to releasing a pop single similar to Work and HB. He and his team made every right move. Gotta salute for the savvy alone.:salute:

I'm not sure but, does this mean they added his whole album to the charts because of streaming?

I see this is a new way for the industry to play the "I'm the best" game. It makes sense that Drake would be Number 1 this week, because the people who bought his album, they are listening to it a lot, so by adding the streams to the charts, he gets #1 title.

This means a lot of people are going to easily claim #1 to their title, in the future. Remember, it doesn't have to sell a lot just to be #1, its all about who is releasing an album when you release an album, and who sell's the most!

I guess this is the new version of the game that has been played since music has started really selling:jbhmm:

Anyway, props to Drake for this:salute:

I hope he uses this to get more revenue, because if that is true about his publishing, most of his money is gonna be made in the years he is hot, not the future, which his publishing would do. I wonder who take the biggest cut from his publishing? I know 40 gone be living good, though:ahh:

He the producer!:myman:
