The Pop song is to crossover and garner support from music fans that not really into rap or R&B besides a few songs here and there. So they not as familiar with the most recent beef.

If it's all pop rap fans will be like damn K dot really got drake to sing with "the melodies".

If Drake ain't fallout with the weeknd I would say get him as feature on the pop song. Miguel would be a decent substitute I like the song Party did sampling him. Either way this next album gonna have to do numbers can't be a dud after the beef.
